Let me catch you up on everything that's been going on with me. Strap on your seatbelts -- it's going to go fast...
June 2010
Here's me photo-bombing my BFBubbles while she makes a bomb of her own.
I believe this was taken at my first dentist appointment. That, or I was participating in a World's Strongest Pre-schooler Competition in which I was preparing to pull a 50 ton trailer with my mouth. (I'm pretty sure it was the dentist because I remember getting a free light-up toothbrush on the way out.)
Have you ever seen two people more blissfully unaware of the ensuing apocalypse?
It may take you a while, but if you read this carefully you can see this is a father's day card to my dad and all of my grandpas. Yes, it was my idea... and yes, I am that ridiculously adorable.
Adorable child building a sand castle, or future evil genius preparing for world domination? You tell me.
Wrigley Field, family day.
We watched a minor league game, which was fun enough. But after that, I got to run the bases... at Wrigley Field... for the second time in my life. How cool is that? There are a lot of Cubs players who don't even get that chance!
You may think I look tired, and that would be understandable considering this was taken at 10:00 pm. I prefer to think that I am thoughtful and reflective in this picture.
In this picture I'm just tired.
Eat your heart out Bev Hills. I take my pool hours at Chez Baby Sasha's Grandparents.
For July 4th we went to the "Hot Air Balloon" festival in Lisle, Illinois -- about an hour outside of Chicago. It was a lovely time, except for the fact that there were no hot air balloons. They'd been grounded on account of the high winds.
Here's me checking the windspeed:
Luckily the high winds did not harshly affect the children's crafts tent, and I was able to create this painted masterpiece: a psychedelic fairy. (For the appropriate effect you may need to tilt your head 90 degrees to the right. And then go eat some mushrooms.)
Dottie and I enjoy a good (backyard) schvitz.
Okay, this is big news. Dorothy and I went to a farm. A real farm, not some low-rent manure-smelling Disneyland with crappy rides and shellshocked ponies being sat on by spoiled brats. This was the real deal.
Here I am holding a chicken which, to my knowledge, is still living among us.
Here's me petting a goat whose name is Eloise. Yes, Eloise.
And here, by god, is me milking a goat. (I don't believe it was Eloise as she seemed to me to be a little too reserved for that, especially considering we'd just met.)
